Through The Time is Now, activists seek to bring consideration of gender balance and reproductive and sexual health and rights to climate change discussions.  Last week there was a major victory in the campaign, as activists at the UN’s Climate Change Conference in Doha, Qatar, succcessfully advocated for language around gender equality and the representation of women at future climate change conferences – important because women are disproportionately impacted by climate change.  Advocates alumni youth activist, former colleague, and current consultant Mimi Melles explains further:
