We’re excited to announce that Alabama Alliance for Healthy Youth (AA4HY) of AIDS Alabama is looking for youth activists like you!

AIDS Alabama is currently looking for 10 passionate youth activists who care about sexual and reproductive health. Apply here!

As a member of the AA4HY you will work to support and promote comprehensive sex education and increased access to sexual and reproductive health services for all young people across the state.

Applications are due May 1. Send in yours today!

Applicants must:

  • Be a high school or college student, age 15-24, with a passion for sexual health advocacy,including HIV/STI prevention, LGBTQ health and rights, and/or social justice issues;

  • Have good leadership and a proven ability to work well in a group

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;

  • Experience using social networking and social media tools such as Facebook,Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Tumblr; and

  • Have the ability to work respectfully with a wide range of groups and individuals, including LGBT (lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender) persons, people of different cultural, religious, racial, and political backgrounds, and people with disabilities.
