Today is the last day of 2012 and I must say that this year was a remarkable year. I followed my dream and became an advocate for something I strongly believed in. As I boarded the plane to return back to Florida all that ran through my mind was that Urban Retreat was more than I expected it to be. I never knew that there were so many young people that we energized and excited about better comprehensive sex education. That weekend opened my eyes up to some many different cultures, personalities, and ways of life. I learned about different topics that I was either naive to or completely oblivious of.
