At Advocates for Youth I had the wonderful opportunity and honor to help the Elton John AIDS Foundation organize 250 LGBT youth and their allies from 20 different organizations around the New York and New Jersey area to attend the hit Broadway play, The Normal Heart. The play, written by Larry Kramer, chronicles the rise of the AIDS crisis in the 80s specifically in New York.
